Remington Factory Engraved New Model Belt revolver with octagon barrel and 2 piece ivory grips. Scroll and vine engraved frame with chiseled bordered top strap and geometrically engraved trigger guard. Barrel is matching scroll engraved at rear. Serial numbered on underside of barrel and left side of grip frame under the grip. Cylinder has vignette of a mounted horseman in woodland scene. Blue finished with case colored hammer and silver washed trigger guard. Housed in period casing with small Eagle flask, blue finished straight leg dual cavity mold with sprue cutter and UMC cap tin. CONDITION: Very fine with most all blue finish remaining. Grips are excellent. Bore is bright. Case is very fine as refinished. Mechanically excellent.
