(A) FINE MODEL 1867 NORWEIGIAN SINGLE SHOT ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE.
Built under the Remington license in Norway at the Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk arsenal displaying the R with crown stamp and issued to both the Swedish and Norwegian military's. Standard features include the round barrel, dovetailed blade on base front sight, right side bayonet lug, metal cleaning rod, three barrel bands, full length wood forearm, long range folding military rear sight, stock with metal butt plate, swivel and exhibiting a brass disc on right side. The case color frame is stamped M1867 with arsenal crown stamp. CONDITION: Fine. Frame retains some fading case color. Barrel retains the majority of its blue with sundry handling and shows some thinning. Stocks show some usual dings and impressions but is very solid. Mechanically sound with a bright bore. This rifle has been converted to center fire.
