The original case color frame still retains the saddle ring and bar and carbine ladder rear sight, while lever has been altered to pistol grip contour, octagon to round barrel shortened to 10", front sight reset, and a custom pistol grip attached. CONDITION: Fine as custom converted. The frame is clean and shows some fading case color. Legends are sharp. Barrel retains about half of the blue with balance patina and showing some martial sub inspector stamps. Bore is strong and bright. PROVENANCE: Ex. Castlerock Museum.
