Manufactured in 1898. High polish blued Damascus barrels with a wide matted dolls head rib, double ivory bead sights and extractor. Case hardened sideplated action with double triggers and automatic safety. Custom diamond checkered walnut beavertail forend. Walnut stock with checkered pistol grip, scalloped hard rubber grip cap, and "LAC" monogram checkered hard rubber butt plate. CONDITION: Very Good. Barrels retain the majority of their bright, period applied blued finish with areas of thinning, visible Damascus patterning, and a few small dents. Action displays significant portions of attractive case colors with some fading, especially on the underside. Forend retains crisp checkering with a few light handling marks. Stock is refreshed with scattered light field impressions. Bright bores. Fine mechanics.
