(A) LEHIGH COUNTY FLINTLOCK KENTUCY PISTOL.

This American stocked pistol features an early Dutch lock and three stage unmarked barrel. The brass furniture appears to be American gunsmith-made. The maple stock has relief carving around the barrel tang and ramrod entry ferrule indicative of known Lehigh County designs. Period wood ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel and lock retain a grey patina. Lock is in its original flintlock configuration. Brass shows some wear and has been polished. Stock shows some age cracks and scattered marks from use.
