Lot consists of (A) Marlin Model 1891 with 24" octagon barrel with 2/3rd length magazine tube. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer and buttplate. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. Chambered in .22 S,L,L.R. CONDITION: Very fine with 80-85% original blue with scattered freckling. Wood is excellent, showing modest wear. Bore is very fine with moderate abrasion. (B) Marlin Model 1891 with 22" round barrel with 2/3rd length magazine tube. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer and buttplate. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style, crescent buttplate. Chambered in .22 S,L,& L.R. CONDITION: Very good, an overall heavy brown patina with scattered moderate pitting. Stock has been modified to resemble a pistol grip. Overall the wood is solid with moderate wear. Bore is dark. -MKS-
