Lot consists of: (A) Dated 1848 on breech and lockplate. H. Aston Model 1842 Pistol caliber .54 with 8-1/2" barrel equipped with swivel type ramrod and mounted with a 1-piece walnut stock with brass furniture. Nicely martially inspected on left side with 2 US inspections. CONDITION: Good as previously cleaned but with very crisp legends and markings. Dark bore. Action operates properly. (B) Dated 1851 on breech and lockplate. Model 1842 H. Aston Model 1842 pistol. .54 caliber with 8-1/2" steel barrel with swivel type ramrod. Walnut stocks with brass furniture and US inspectors cartouches on left side of stock. CONDITION: Very good as earlier cleaned. Crisp markings and legends. Cartouches are crisp. Bore is dark. Action operate properly. TDW
