(A) LOT OF TWO ANTIQUE SHOTGUNS: A RICHARDS AND A MORTIMER 12 GAUGE SIDE BY SIDE.

A. Mortimer fine twist percussion double hammer gun features the dual side locks, dual triggers, twist barrels with gold wedding bands at breech and a single bead front sight, a checkered straight grip one piece walnut stock and wooden rod. CONDITION: Very good. Metal is now a dark patina. Legends are still legible while stock shows some scattered dings and oil darkening. Mechanically sound but nipples crushed. B. Both of the back action locks are stamped RICHARD. Displays the exposed hammers, dolls head lock, single bead front sight, dual triggers, checkered round knob walnut stock with serrated metal butt plate and a splinter forearm that is not checkered. CONDITION: Very good. All metal is now a smooth patina. Mechanically sound with fairly clean bores. Stocks show sundry dings and some added finish.
