Lot consists of: A most attractive pair of percussion snap-bayonet blunderbuss pistols. The brass barrels and frames have some wear but pleasant honey patination. The frames are engraved with trophies of arms, flags, Blake London. Steel trigger guards with rudimentary engraving. Flattened figured walnut butts. Push-on safeties function. Ramrod on one pistol is definitely the original, with worm. Second ramrod with no worm but still possibly original. CONDITION: Stocks are both in good condition, with vacant silver thumb pieces. A very attractive pair of blunderbuss pistols. Actions on both pistols are crisp. Both snap bayonets with strong springs and perfect mechanism.
