5-1/4" round barrel marked "Lefaucheux A Paris" on the top. The left side of barrel lug is marked with the serial number and Lefaucheux's maker's mark and initials. Barrel lug, cylinder, frame, triggerguard and gripstraps are engraved with nicely figured scrolls and oak leaves, some with acorns of a Germanic style. Nickel-plated finish. Varnish grips of figured rosewood. Lanyard ring. Complete with green velour-lined mahogany case. The interior of the lid is marked "Lefaucheux/ A Paris". The brass handle and plate on the lid are engraved "K.M.". Accessories include single cavity bullet mold, cleaning rod, oiler, wad cutter and full box of 25 12mm cartridges. There are also two loose 12mm cartridges and 3 fired cases. Also included is a brass and wood reloading tool marked "F.C. Invon. Bte. S.D.G.D. A.G. 12". CONDITION: Fine as refinished with all markings sharp and clear including the engraving. Fine mechanical function. Bore is fine with strong rifling. Case exterior has light handling marks. Lining showing staining, wear a few minor tears the most notable of which is on the inside of the lid. Accessories very good. PROVENANCE: Previously from the Dave Dermon II collection.
