The first handgun produced by John Marlin circa 1863 to 1867. This brilliantly nickel finished example features a half octagon barrel marked on the top flat "J. M. MARLIN / NEW HAVEN. CT.", brass frame with spur trigger, and 2-piece rosewood grips. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the original nickel finish is retained throughout with some light spots of loss and freckles. Grips retain significant portions of their original varnish with some wear and light impressions. Mechanically fine.
