(A) MARLIN LITTLE JOKER REVOLVER
The Marlin "Little Joker" is a scarce, antique .22-caliber rimfire single-action spur-trigger pocket revolver. Manufactured by J.M. Marlin in New Haven, Connecticut, between 1871 and 1873, only about 500 to 1,100 of these small 7-shot handguns were ever produced. Blade front and notch rear sights, with "LITTLE JOKER" on the top barrel flat, the two-line New Haven address on the left flat, with a nickel finish and smooth wood grips.CONDITION: The nickel finish is flaking on the barrel and cylinder. The grip straps are thinning and have handling throughout. The bore is dark with some corrosion. The mechanics are strong with positive hammer notches.
