Converted after the Civil War for self contained cartridges. The left side of the walnut stock has "DFC" in ribbon for David Clark. There are sundry sub inspector stamps. Barrel is stamped "New Model 1863" and Sharps legends are stamped on lock plate and left side of receiver. Features the round barrel, pinned blade on base front sight, the Lawrence stamped ladder rear sight, walnut stock, metal butt plate, and a matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Flashes of case color but basically darkened. Legends are crisp. Barrel is a smooth patina. Stocks are excellent with sharp cartouche. Mechanically sound with a well defined six groove bright bore.
