Manufactured between 1863 - 1875 with an estimate of approximately 122,000 manufactured. Martially marked with a "J" on the left side of barrel and on the receiver in front of the cylinder. There is a "P" on the cylinder, the left side of the loading lever and on the trigger guard. At the rear left on the frame is a "W". The left grip is marked with the inspector's initials. Steel post front sight with a 3-line address on the octagonal barrel. 6-shot round cylinder with safety notches at the rear of the cylinder. Brass trigger guard with 2-piece walnut grip panels. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 45% of the factory applied blue finish. Brown patina visible coming through the blue finish. Bore is fair with some slight pitting and frosting in the lands and grooves. Grip panels show some handling and storage marks. REW
