Lot #1025:
(A) MARTIAL COLT MODEL 1860 ARMY PERCUSSION REVOLVER (1861).
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/7/2025
Dates to 1861. Standard US issue revolver showing several sub inspector initials. Matching serial numbers on frame, barrel, wedge, trigger guard and back strap. The rebated cylinder shows minimal naval scene and the serial number is not legible. Barrel has the one line Colt legend. Trigger guard is brass. The left walnut grip panel displays the oval cartouche. Butt is cut for shoulder stock. CONDITION: Very good. All metal is a smooth blue grey patina. Legends are all legible. Cylinder shows some legible legends but scene is only partially visible. Mechanically sound. Bore is bolt with only minor residue. Nice early Civil War example.
