(A) NEPALESE SERVICE MARKED BSA MARTINI HENRY SINGLE SHOT RIFLE.

This is a short tail Martini dated 1888 with the "BSA" and "(Crown)" on right side of frame. Numerous inspector stamps on both sides of barrel at breech. The right side of stock has the Fort William Arsenal cartouche with numerous Nepalese stamps. This is a two band with metal ramrod, post front sight, military ladder rear sight, walnut two piece stock, swivels, steel butt plate, and blue finish. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel and receiver retain the majority of the thinning blue finish. Stocks are solid with normal dings. Bore is sharp but lightly frosted. Comes with a British proof bayonet and sheath. Strong example.
