Bright finished government proofed barrel with bayonet lug front sight and 3-poistion rear. "1864" dated lock with a federal eagle and US over the 2-line Providence Tool Co. address. Oiled walnut stock retained by 3 barrel bands and mounted with a script "US" marked butt plate. CONDITION: Very Good. Metal has a bright, salt and pepper patina, with some more significant pitting around the lock. Stocks are dark with expected impressions. Well defined, heavily frosted bore. Fine mechanics.
