(A) RARE CONTINENTAL ARMS "LADIES COMPANION" PEPPERBOX REVOLVER.

This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/3/2026

Designed and patented in 1866 by Charles Converse and Sam Hopkins in Norwich, manufactured by Bacon. It is estimated that only about 800 were ever produced with the Continental Arms legend on cylinder. Pistol appears to have a cylinder but it is simply part of the barrel cluster. Fit with rosewood grips. CONDITION: Very good. All metal is a smooth patina and the cylinder legend is bold. Grips have notches set on both sides Mechanically, needs some work as hammer spring is intact but is not affixed. Bores are clean with sharp rifling.
