Made in Millbury Mass mid to late 1840's . It is neither a US contact nor dated pistol. It is believed Waters made these to get a government contract as a bridge gun from a flintlock to percussion is the style of 1842 with flat lock stamped A.H. WATERS COL MILLBURY MASS with eagle head. No proof marks except on B on side lock. All iron furniture finished in the white, walnut stock, swivel ramrod. Original percussion. CONDITION: Very good. Basically a dull grey patina with a light fissure on right side at muzzle partially visible inside bore. Action works fine. Stock is excellent with some impressions. Bore is fairly clean. This gun is almost never seen and they have no idea as to how few were ever made.
