These pistols were manufactured in Belgium and used the London marks as a form of infringing on the well-known reputation of London Gunsmiths. 2 turn off barrels with short straight rifling that doubles as an assist for turning off. Double triggers. Light incised engraving consisting of floral and shell motifs. Double cocks and double ignition holes, allowing for single or double fire. Marked "SEGLAS" on right of boxlock action, "LONDON" on right. CONDITION: Some spot s of patination throughout, touchholes and bores more heavily affected. Some screws molested. Some seams at butt detached, exposing sharp corners. Mechanically fine. Barrels frozen to frame. These pistols are neat examples of continental gunsmiths making forgeries. EMW
