(A) SMITH & WESSON 1ST MODEL "BABY RUSSIAN" SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER.

This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/3/2026

These were only produced in 1876-1877. This is a standard model in nickel finish with blued catch, case color hammer, blued spur trigger, and S&W gutta percha grips. The barrel has the rib sporting the two line barrel legend. CONDITION: Near new. The cylinder shows no burn nor does it show any wear at firing pin. About the only evident wear is a light drag line along with nominal handling marks as found on nearly all nickel finish guns. Grips are crisp. Bore is bright. Mechanically sound. Would be nearly impossible to find a nicer example.

CORRECTION: This is a Smith & Wesson .38 SA 2nd Model, not a Baby Russian.
