Mauser Model 71/84 tube magazine bolt action rifle made at Spandau Arsenal in 1887. Blued round rifled barrel with blade front sight and rear adjustable military style sight. Barrel marked with Spandau Arsenal markings with gun having all matching serial numbers. In the white receiver dated "1887" with matching bolt. Walnut full military stock with matching numbered blued hardware and arsenal proofs. Matching numbered buttplate with regimental marking "24 R.R. 316." which stands for 24th Reserve Infantry. CONDITION: 90% plus blue with light surface corrosion and remnants of solidified cosmoline. Receiver has light surface discoloration. Wood has 90% original finish with light handling marks and dings. Excellent bore and mechanics. A super example of a Mauser 71/84. DLM
