Made from mid 1870's until 1895. Lovely antique Stevens tip-up single shot rifle that features an octagon to round blue barrel, nickel plated frame, walnut stock, scarce forend, and nickel plated Swiss buttplate. This fine rifle also features a long range tang sight, leaf rear, and folding globe front sight. The bore measures .308 but it takes a special Stevens cartridge which you will have to determine before shooting. CONDITION: Fine all original condition that is a solid 90% across the board, metal and wood. The nickel finish on frame has dulled and has some minor age freckling. The stocks are really sharp with piano finish and nice grain. One of the better examples of a tip-up model that you will find. It even has a nice bore.
