This is a second type circa 1863-1876. Features an octagon to round barrel, iron frame, missing right side extractor, walnut stock with rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Rear sight screw is a replacement. There is no real finish remaining and is now a smooth homogenous grey / blue patina with sharp legends. The stock is proud to metal and solid with some minor dings. Action is fine. The bore is clean.
