Unwin & Rogers "Knife Gun" percussion pistol. Made in Britain, with typical British proofs on the barrel. Both blades are marked "Unwin / Rodgers / Sheffield" on the bases. Pentagonal, smooth bore barrel with a brass bead for a front sight. Laminated wood handle. Bullet mold is missing, but tweezers are retained in the butt. Nipple is broken off. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with signs of heavy cleaning. Grips is solid with general wear. Bore is clean overall. Mechanically operable, minus the broken nipple. Blades are dull but not chipped or broken off. JWA
