The full length walnut stock has a strong SWP 1889 cartouche (Sam Porter) with P under wrist. The rear sight has been removed and a period long range tang sight has been fitted. A globe front sight was fitted over the original post (loose) Standard two bands, metal ram rod, swivels and butt plate with no trap door. Barrel has the VP eagle head proof at breech with US MODEL 1884 on block and US SPRINGFIELD eagle on lock. CONDITION: Fine. Metal is a smooth blue brown patina blend. Stock is excellent with minor abrasions. Bore is bright.
