(A) VA REGT MARKED PERCUSSION RIFLE.
Unique assembled percussion conversion musket, probably assembled for Southern use. Round barrel is marked on top. "VA REGT DINWIDDIE" Dinwiddie County, Virginia is just south of Richmond and runs to Petersburg. This area was heavily fortified and fought over through most of the Civil War. CONDITION: Fair as assembled with numerous wood splices and contemporary repairs. A unique Virginia assembled musket.
