Standard configuration. Made by Robbins & Lawrence in Windsor, VT. Marked on barrel "ROBBINS &/ LAWRENCE". Maynard tape primed, and marked on tape primer door. Post style tang sight. A distinguishing feature on these guns is the internally mounted hammer. Matching numbers on the receiver tang, inside of patchbox door and inside of tape primer door. Front sight is a modern restoration. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina with light pitting and some areas showing evidence of having been cleaned. Markings are clear. Brass has been cleaned. Wood has dings and handling marks. There is a crack in the stock on the right side between the top of the lock plate and the upper tang. Bore is good with sharp rifling and areas of pitting. Good mechanical function. GR
