(A) WATERS U.S. M1836 CONVERTED PERCUSSION PISTOL.

This example has the 1840 date on lock with Waters legend. The left side barrel is stamped "JH" for Joseph Hannis. The left side of the walnut stock has one inspector cartouche stamp that is visible but not legible. All iron furniture, swivel loading rod, converted from flintlock to percussion. CONDITION: Very good. Working order. All metal is a clean smooth patina. All legends are sharp. Stock has wood repair and was refinished. Bore has some abrasions.
