Very rare mid 19th century over under rifle shotgun combination gun. Both of the back action locks are marked Williams with no other maker stamps. Features double exposed hammers and triggers. The barrels do not swivel, rather they are stationary with the left side shotgun hammer having a very long extension. The top rifle barrel has a single leaf rear sight with knife blade front sight. There are two wooden rods, one on either side. The barrels are browned. The back action locks are lightly engraved. The trigger guard and butt plate are brass. The stock appears to be striped maple with a silver deer applique on left side and a brass patch box on the right. CONDITION: Fine. The barrels are a smooth as butter brown finish. The brass has been cleaned. Stock was nicely refinished. Both bores are clean and gun is in working condition.
