Manufactured 1893. .32-20 caliber with a 24" barrel. This is a standard rifle in all respects. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting front and rear sights, blued finish and walnut stocks. The barrel and tube retain approximately 70% original factory blue starting to plum with sharp barrel legend. Frame is a pleasing mix of blue and patina with high edge wear. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with original finish and only a few minor impressions. Traces of case colors on hammer. Bore has strong visible rifling with minor black powder abrasions. Perfect action. Overall, a very nice, clean, honest Model 1873 rifle.
