Lot consists of a Carl Gustaf Model 1896 and a Russian Model 1891 Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle. (A) C. A. I. import. Manufactured by Carl Gustaf in 1900. Matching numbers include: receiver, bolt, rear sight, floorplate, and buttplate. Complete with cleaning rod and leather sling. CONDITION: Metal components show traces of bluing through thinning and wear. Stock shows scattered handling marks. Bore is poor, showing heavy corrosion throughout, but retains good rifling. (B) SAMCO import. Hex receiver manufactured by Tula in 1898. Imperial eagles present on receiver and barrel above manufacturer. Finnish property stamp on left side of barrel. Matching numbers include receiver and bolt. Correct curved Konovalov rear sight. CONDITION: Metal components show minor cosmetic wear. Stock shows handling marks as well as cut out sections under rear sling swivel. Initial's "N.L." carved into forend. Good bore with light frosting. Strong rifling throughout.
