Lot consists of: (A) Chilean 1895 Mauser with bayonet. Manufactured by Loewe in Berlin for the Chilean government. Serial numbers on this gun are all matching with the exception of the cleaning rod. A nice Chilean crest still present on this gun. Numerous acceptance marks accompany this rifle. A nice stock cartouche, dating to 1895 is present. Rifle appears to be non import marked. Bayonet is serialized, but does not match the gun. Bayonet and scabbard do not match as well. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 75% of its original bluing with light wear and numerous handling marks present. Stock is good with minor chips, scratches and gouges. Bore is frosted with fair rifling left. The bolt and receiver retain a fair amount of storage grease and will need to be cleaned before firing. Bayonet is good with generous wear throughout. It to retains a good amount of packing grease. (B) 1895 Chilean Mauser with bayonet. This rifle was converted to 7.62x51 NATO sometime by the the Chilean government. A nice Chilean crest still present on this gun. Numerous acceptance marks accompany this rifle. A faint stock cartouche can be seen on this rifle. Mismatched serial numbers. Rifle appears to be non import marked. Bayonet is serialized, but does not match the gun. Bayonet and scabbard do not match as well. CONDITION: Overall fair-good. Metal retains little to none of its original finish with generous patina on the the rifle as a whole. Stock is solid overall with a few minor cracks and gouges. There is a larger crack behind the front band. Bore is good with generous rifling left. The bolt and receiver retain a fair amount of storage grease and will need to be cleaned before firing. Bayonet is good with generous wear throughout. It to retains a good amount of packing grease. (C) Argentine 1891 Mauser rifle with sling and bayonet. Manufactured by Loewe in Berlin for the Argentine government. Serial numbers on this gun are all matching, including the cleaning rod. Crest has been removed from this rifle. No import marks on this rifle. Bayonet is serialized, but does not match the gun. Sling is a reproduction K98 Mauser sling. CONDITION: Overall good-very good. Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear and patina in areas. Stock is good with minor dings, scratches and light wear. Signs of arsenal repair can be seen in a few areas. Bore is lightly frosted with fair rifling left. Bayonet is fair with wear and dents on the scabbard. Overall, a nice group of Mauser"s for your collection. JA
