Made 1888 to 1911 with "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILLION N.Y." barrel address. Pistol features superposed 3" barrels chambered for .41 Short Rimfire with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Nickel finished throughout with a spur trigger, birdshead frame. Grips are aftermarket 2-piece smooth bone. Pistol is accompanied by a wonderful period British made snakeskin patterned leather wrapped French fitted presentation case with a small silver monogramed escutcheon on the lid and 4 rounds of period ammunition. CONDITION: Very good overall as restored retaining bountiful amounts of nickel finish. Blued small parts have turned to a brown patina. Grips are excellent. Good bores and mechanics. Matching numbers observed on frame and barrel assembly. Case is good with some wear and loss at the rear left lid corner. BAS
