Fabrique Nationale Principe patent pocket pistol manufactured in Spain for commercial sales. The left side of the slide is stamped "FABRIQUE D'ARMES de GUERRE DE GRANDE PRECISION/ "PRINCIPE" PATENT/ CAL 6.35", with the right side simply marked "MADE IN SPAIN". Left side of frame bears Spanish proofs, with the right side exhibiting the serial number. Metal components exhibit a lustrous nickel plated finish, while the frame is mounted with smooth 2-piece pearl grips. Frame and slide exhibit floral scroll engraving, housed within wavy line borders. Matching assembly number "23" is present on the frame, magazine safety, sear connector, sear, trigger, slide, as well as on the barrel. Pistol is accompanied by a custom made brass studded leather holster. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory applied nickel finish, exhibiting scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, as well as some areas of yellow age related discoloration. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit a loss on either panel to the right of the grip screw, and exhibit some marks from handling and storage. Leather holster is malleable, exhibiting age related tarnishing to the brass studs.
