An early German drilling with 26 - 3/4" barrels. The 2 - 5/8" chambered barrels, with extractor, and chokes that measure modified and full are marked "nitro". They are also fitted with a dolls head third fastener extension, solid filed rib, loop for sling, front blade sight, folding rear sight and also fit for side clips. Rib marked "CARL LEBERECHT AMBERG". The grey patina action has sideclips, light scroll and floral engraving, top mounted cocking indicators a serrated push non-auto safe and a push button rear sight lifter. Double triggers with lever over guard. Walnut stock with cheek piece, checkered and rounded semi pistol grip, engraved steel slot for sling, steel engraved trap door hiding space for four rifle cartridges and horn buttplate. Matching Schnabel, splinter forend with Deeley lever release. CONDITION: Fair. The barrels retain 85% color with some pitting and handling marks. The rifle barrel is crisp with little signs of use. Stock has a damage behind the top tang. Stock and forend have handling marks and the diamond point checkering is semi smooth. CP
