(C) CLINTON FINLEY ENGRAVED COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY BISLEY MODEL .45 LC REVOLVER.
Manufactured 1903 by Colt Mfg of Hartford Ct. Colt Bisley Single action with 5 - 1/2" barrel and later custom engraved by Clinton Finley of California. Tastefully full coverage engraved win the Helfrich style with fine gold borders and inlays of flower blooms on recoil shield and front of frame. Gold accented trigger and screws with additional gold accents on cylinder pin and ejector. Mounted with a fine set of 2 piece ivory grips. Clinton Finley is a noted contemporary artist engraver specializing in Colts and Winchesters and has been featured in numerous publications. CONDITION: Extremely fine with 99% of all custom finishes remaining and o indication of actual use since embellishment. The bore and chamber are excellent and action is mechanically fine. A wonderfully embellished Bisley Colt.
