Manufactured 1910. The Colt Model 1905 was the first introduction of the venerable .45 ACP cartridge and evolved into the famed Colt Model 1911 Government model. Model 1905 with spur hammer, 2 piece oil finished checkered walnut grips, bright polished commercial blue finish with fire blue finished trigger and slide stop, and case colored hammer. Lanyard swivel at base on left side of grip. Slide has 2 line Colt address with Rampant Colt in circle on rear of slide on left side. Blade front sight with drift adjustable rear sight. CONDITION: Very fine with over 60% blue finish on frame with grips strap losses. Slide retains 30% blue with balance toned to mottled patina. Bore is good with some light frosting in lands. Grips are very fine. Mechanically excellent.
