1900 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 192058. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .38 WCF with blade front sight and frame notch rear. Matching serial numbers observed on butt, trigger guard, and frame. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips featuring a Rampant Colt on either side. Comes with a factory letter confirming configuration and shipment along with 24 other guns to Simmons Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri January 1, 1900. Complete with Piteado Mexican holster that was made sometime close to the mid 20th century and was originally made for a 5 - 1/2" barrel SAA. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to a gray-brown patina with age related pitting throughout. Center pin is a replacement but fits well. Grips are very good and complete but well worn. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand with mainspring slightly weak. Bore is frosted with light abrasion throughout and visible rifling. Holster is pliable and mostly complete with age related cracking and some flaking throughout. TON
