(C) CUSTOM WINCHESTER MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION RIFLE IN .240 WEATHERBY MAGNUM

Built with a Model 70 action and fit with a Weatherby branded .240 Weatherby barrel without provisions for iron sights and cut with a recessed crown. Model 70 action with "WINCHESTER" visible above stock line, drilled and tapped at fore and rear rings with two holes, front with filler screws, rear open, and two offset at rear left for use with an aperture sight. Elongated bolt knob with two panels of teardrop checkering. Outstanding, darkly veined and richly marbled walnut stock with fiddleback, contrasting forearm tip, pistol grip with skeletonized grip cap, skeletonized buttplate with widow's peak, cheekpiece with fluted nose that flows gracefully into wrist. Checkered at forearm and pistol grip with fleur de lis intrusions and fit with QD sling bows and studs at forearm and along toe line. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the custom finishes throughout with some very minor marks from handling and storage. Mechanically fine, bore excellent with strong rifling and some moderate frosting.
