Very early, three digit, DWM Luger produced without chamber date. Features Imperial proofs and all matching numbers, with the exception of the magazine. The pistol features a blued finish with straw takedown lever, trigger, and safety lever. The pistol is a three digit serial number with no letter block, indicating early production. The heel of the front grip strap has a rare Imperial machine gun unit stamp "RMG.66", likely referring to the reserve machine gun Company; B4 indicates the specific code for unit designation. The rig is complete with a period unmarked holster and capture papers. CONDITION: The pistol was arsenal reconditioned, probably just prior to being issued to the machine gun company, with high edge wear and thin blue on the grip straps. The plum is showing underneath the blue on the frame. The bore is bright with only light frost in the grooves. The pistol is mechanically sound.
