(C) FINE CASED BRIDGER NAVAL CO. WINCHESTER MODEL 37 LINE GUN.
Manufactured by Winchester as a purpose built line throwing gun for the Naval Co. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania based on the Model 37 action with a reinforced smoothbore barrel. Barrel is marked with Winchester legend, "-LINE GUN-45-70 BLANK ONLY-", "BRIDGER", and "NAVAL CO." stamps. Standard walnut stocks. Gun is fitted with a Naval Co. line spool. It is housed in a Naval Co. marked hard case with 5 brass projectiles, line, winders, blanks, and cleaning supplies. CONDITION: Excellent with light handling marks. Frosted bore. A very handsome example.
