Browning Hi Power semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Fabrique Nationale shortly after the conclusion of World War II. The left side of the frame bears stampings stipulating FN's manufacturer information, patent information, as well as 2 Belgian proof, which are also present on the left side of the frame, as well as the right side of the chamber. Metal components are blued, with the frame being mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips, that feature red waterproof paint on their interiors. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, as well as on the barrel. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, with some very mild wear and thinning present on the front grip strap, extremely light surface oxidation on the rear grip strap, as well as a small spot of wear and thinning present on the left side of the slide at the muzzle. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips exhibit some smoothing and a few minor marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise fine.
