(C) FINE WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 LEVER ACTION CARBINE (1907).

Manufactured in 1907. Standard carbine features blue finish, pinned blade on base front sight, forearm, no provision for a rear barrel sight and now fit with a Lyman Model 21 receiver sight. Retains the saddle ring. Stock is walnut with matching finger groove lower forearm and hand guard. Also sports a trapdoor blued carbine butt plate and sling eyes. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel retains nearly all its original blue with minor handling marks. Receiver retains 75-85% bright blue with balance flaked and blending with patina. Breech is stamped "30" with PW. The factory legends are mostly obscured by sight bar. Wood is excellent sans some very minor dings and impressions. Mechanically functional with a strong bore.
CORRECTION: Handguard is a later replacement.
