The 101 series was introduced in 1954 and built at the Hamden Conn plant. The Supermatic was the top of the line target pistol at that time. This series ended production in 1957. This example features the longer heavy barrel, full serrated rib, a wind drift front sight, adjustable rear sight, dual tone blue finish along with the correct checkered brown composite two piece grips with left side thumb rest. The magazine is not stamped. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains at least 97% of its blue finish showing some scattered small handling marks and overall muzzle wear. Grips are excellent. Mechanically sound with a bright bore.
