(C) INLAND DIVISION M1 CARBINE SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE.

Manufactured in 1944 by Inland Division of General Motors. Barrel markings are faint, but appear to be 1944 Inland production. Protected blade front sight and adjustable aperture rear. Small parts include a flat bolt and flip safety. Highwood walnut stock and 2-rivet handguard retained by a bayonet lug band. Import marked on the underside of barrel. CONDITION: Fair/Good as arsenal reworked. Overall dark patina with soft markings. Stocks show expected wear from service. Well defined bore with some abrasions and a ring towards the muzzle. ME under 3.
