Manufactured March 1954 to October 1954. Replacement stock with no cartouche. Springfield bolt. Type IV DRC stamped rear sight, not stamped IHC. Barrel is "LMR 7-53" (slightly earlier but correct barrel). Proper IHC trigger group stamped "D6528290" which is the proper manufacture but the wrong lot number. Winchester trigger release. CONDITION: Metal retains approximately 90% of the arsenal applied finish. Excellent walnut matching stock with no cartouche. ME Reading: .5. Fine bore. While this is obviously a post-Korea rebuild, the majority of the primary parts are correct, and would just take a few of the smaller parts to bring this rifle to original condition.
