Barrel marked "4-44 INLAND MFG DIV GENERAL MOTORS". Parkerized finish with round bolt and later type slide adjustable rear sight. Type III carbine with mixed internal parts, four rear rivet wide groove handguard and straight stock. 20 round magazine. No import markings. Walnut M1 stock with traces of Ordnance wheel inspection and TH makers mark in sling slot. Rear sight stamped "RI CO". CONDITION: Good overall. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Wood is oil soaked but very serviceable. Comes with green cotton M1 carbine sling and oiler. Mechanics are functioning properly.
