Built in 1923, this is a Flues Model Grade 2 with steel barrels, double triggers, automatic two position safety and ejectors. Capped figured checkered pistol grip walnut stock with Ithaca logo Bakelite buttplate. Checkered splinter forearm with push button release and ebony inlay. Engraved case hardened boxlock action with walking Woodcock on left side of frame and walking Quail on the right with a floral pattern on bottom of action. Trigger bow engraved with floral pattern. CONDITION: Barrels retain 40% original blue worn silver where you would carry it. Action has 30% case turning plum with balance worn to a silvery patina. Trigger bow turning a plum brown. Bores bright and shiny inside. Mechanically sound and functions fine.
