Manufactured 1942 and dated so on right side of slide. Kongsberg Model 1914 produced under license from Colt. The Model 1914 was issued to the Norwegian military, and most parts are totally interchangeable with its US made counterpart, with exception of the lowered and extended slide release developed for gloved use in the Nordic environment. Diamond pattern checkered wood grips are dyed black. CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% finish remaining on metal while 80% finish remains on grips. Bore is excellent. Mechanically fine. Proper and correct Norwegian lanyard loop magazine. A very fine Kongsberg pattern 1914 pistol.
